Copes Tango Show
Parafraseando al célebre tango, “no habrá ninguno igual”. Por eso, el legado de Juan Carlos Copes, bailarín, creador y figura fundamental del tango escénico, vive en su hija, Johana Copes. Junto a Leonel Herrera, Maira Sánchez, Soledad Mallo, Adirel Bournissen, Ligeia Moya y Octavio Gilque, la heredera celebra y proyecta la figura de Copes a través de coreografías que llevan su inconfundible sello, tallado con la elegancia y teatralidad que lo llevaron a recorrer el mundo y convertirse en referencia internacional de la danza.
To paraphrase the famous tango, “there will never be another like him.” That is why the legacy of Juan Carlos Copes—dancer, choreographer, and a pivotal figure in stage tango—lives on through his daughter, Johana Copes. Alongside Leonel Herrera, Maira Sánchez, Soledad Mallo, Adirel Bournissen, Ligeia Moya and Octavio Gilque, his daughter celebrates and carries on Copes’ legacy through choreographies that bear his unmistakable stamp, shaped by the elegance and theatricality that took him around the world and made him an international icon of dance.
