Tango Argentino: un espectáculo de leyenda

La muestra propone un recorrido por el universo estético del espectáculo creado por Claudio Segovia y Héctor Orezzoli que marcó un antes y un después en el tango escénico y proyectó su arte a los escenarios del mundo. A través de una selección de trajes, vestidos, zapatos, fotografías, bijouterie, premios y otros objetos originales, el público podrá descubrir la riqueza visual y el trabajo artístico que le dieron identidad a esta obra, un hito del teatro musical dedicado al tango. Cada pieza expuesta testimonia no solo el refinamiento de la puesta en escena, sino también el legado de Claudio Segovia (1933-2025), cuya mirada artística contribuyó a la renovación y difusión internacional del tango. Como eje de la exposición, se recreará una de las escenas más emblemáticas del espectáculo: “Milonguita”, evocando la atmósfera que hizo de Tango Argentino una referencia. La muestra cuenta con la colaboración especial de la bailarina y repositora Nélida Rodríguez, la vestuarista Hilda Curletto y Jean Luc Don Vito, histórico maquillador y estilista de la compañía, quien viajó a la Argentina especialmente para este proyecto. The exhibition offers a journey through the aesthetic universe of the show created by Claudio Segovia and Héctor Orezzoli, which marked a turning point in stage tango and brought their art to stages around the world. Through a selection of costumes, dresses, shoes, photographs, jewelry, awards, and other original objects, the public will be able to discover the visual richness and artistic craftsmanship that gave and identity to this production, a milestone in musical theater devoted to tango. Each piece on display bears witness not only to the refinement of the staging but also to the legacy of Claudio Segovia (1933–2025), whose artistic vision contributed to the renewal and international dissemination of tango. As the centerpiece of the exhibition, one of the show’s most iconic scenes—“Milonguita”—will be recreated, evoking the atmosphere that made Tango Argentino a benchmark. The exhibition features special contributions from dancer and choreologist Nélida Rodríguez, costume designer Hilda Curletto and Jean Luc Don Vito, the company’s longtime makeup artist and stylist, who traveled to Argentina specifically for this project.
