Orquesta Típica Sentimental y Canyengue
La Orquesta Típica Sentimental y Canyengue revive el espíritu bailable de los años 40. En un concierto que reúne tandas y una serie de glosas, celebra la diversidad de aquella época: desde el ritmo vertiginoso de Juan D’Arienzo hasta la elegancia orquestal de Carlos Di Sarli, pasando por muchos otros estilos. Con la dirección musical del contrabajista Nicolás Acosta y la producción artística del pianista Mariano Flores González, la agrupación fundada en 2021 editó cinco discos y prepara su primera gira europea.
The Orquesta Típica Sentimental y Canyengue revives the danceable spirit of the 1940s. In a concert featuring sets of songs and a series of variations, the group celebrates the diversity of that era: from the vertiginous rhythms of Juan D’Arienzo to the orchestral elegance of Carlos Di Sarli, encompassing many other styles along the way. Under the conduction of double bassist Nicolás Acosta and with artistic production by pianist Mariano Flores González, the group, founded in 2021, has released five albums and is preparing for its first European tour.
