Con una trayectoria de más de medio siglo que atravesó géneros con soltura y pertenencia, gracias a una voz y una técnica privilegiadas que se sostienen en el tiempo, Jairo regresa al Festival para interpretar un repertorio donde no faltarán “Milonga del trovador”, que le dedicaron Piazzolla y Ferrer, “Balada para mi muerte”, “Naranjo en flor” y “Cuesta abajo”, entre otros clásicos. Con Cristian Zárate en piano y arreglos y Joaquín Benítez Kitegroski en bandoneón, se unirá también la notable Camerata Argentina, orquesta de cuerdas nacida en 2010 que reúne a grandes solistas, dirigida por el violinista Pablo Agri.
With a career spanning more than half a century, during which he has crossed genres with ease and authenticity, thanks to a privileged voice and technique that have stood the test of time, Jairo returns to the Festival to perform a repertoire that will include “Milonga del trovador,” dedicated to him by Piazzolla and Ferrer, “Balada para mi muerte,” “Naranjo en flor,” and “Cuesta abajo,” among other classics. Accompanied by Cristian Zárate on piano and arrangements and Joaquín Benítez Kitegroski on bandoneon, he will also be joined by the remarkable Camerata Argentina, a string orchestra founded in 2010 that brings together great soloists, conducted by violinist Pablo Agri.
