An imaginary encounter takes place over the course of one night in which Gardel and Sinatra are locked in a dressing room. According to legend, in 1934, Gardel was at the NBC studios in New York when a Young fan showed up, anxious to meet the "great rioplatense baritone," and he was none other than Frank Sinatra at the age of 19. That starting point gave way to a very attractive idea: a musical that stages an imaginary encounter between both of them in quite adverse circumstances.
